Axon Communications is looking for a Frontend Developer to create clear, responsive, and user-friendly websites and interfaces. You will work on business websites, digital commerce experiences, and Odoo website customization. 

You will translate design ideas into working pages, collaborate with backend developers, and refine layouts across desktop and mobile devices. We are looking for someone who combines practical coding skills with attention to typography, spacing, usability, and detail.
Role at a Glance
Location: KINFRA Techno Industrial Park, Kakkanchery, Calicut
Employment: Full-time
Monthly salary: ₹30,000
Working days: Monday–Friday
Working hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Probation: 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive web pages and reusable interface components.
  • Customize Odoo website themes, templates, and page sections.
  • Translate design references into consistent, functional layouts.
  • Collaborate with backend developers on forms and dynamic features.
  • Test and resolve layout issues across browsers and screen sizes.
  • Improve accessibility, page performance, and code maintainability.

Essential Skills

  • Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to build responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
  • Understanding of typography, spacing, and visual consistency.
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging.
  • Basic knowledge of Git and collaborative development.
  • Ability to demonstrate your work through projects or a portfolio.

Additional Strengths

  • Experience customizing Odoo websites or themes.
  • Familiarity with XML, QWeb, and Odoo OWL.
  • Working knowledge of Bootstrap and SCSS.
  • Ability to interpret designs in Figma.
  • Experience improving accessibility and page loading performance.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce interfaces and technical SEO fundamentals.
