Axon Communications is looking for a Junior Odoo Developer with a sound foundation in Python and an interest in building business applications. You will contribute to Odoo customization, reports, testing, and troubleshooting under the guidance of experienced developers.

This role suits an early-career developer who enjoys solving problems, welcomes feedback, and is willing to learn how software supports real business processes. Relevant academic, personal, internship, or professional projects can help demonstrate your abilities. 

Role at a Glance

Location: KINFRA Techno Industrial Park, Kakkanchery, Calicut
Employment: Full-time
Monthly salary: ₹25,000
Working days: Monday–Friday
Working hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Probation: 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Odoo modules.
  • Create and modify views, forms, and reports. 
  • Test features and help resolve reported issues.
  • Support data preparation, imports, and validation.
  • Use Git and follow the team’s development practices.
  • Document changes and apply feedback from code reviews.

Essential Skills

  • Basic working knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with Odoo modules and business applications.
  • Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Willingness to learn, communicate progress, and work with a team.

Additional Strengths

  • An Odoo project, internship, or training experience.
  • Familiarity with the Odoo ORM and QWeb reports.
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge.
  • Experience using Git.
  • Familiarity with Linux and PostgreSQL.
  • Personal or academic projects that demonstrate practical skills.
